GEDYTE, founded by entrepreneur Tizian Kernstock, is building an intelligent assistant for small and mid-scale greenhouses. The company targets controlled-environment agriculture, helping private and light-commercial growers plan, monitor and optimise crops with a low-cost sensor box and a mobile app that turns data into clear, actionable guidance and yield forecasts. GEDYTE fuses on-site measurements with satellite Earth-observation data and weather to generate micro-climate insights and short-term yield and readiness predictions. Using EO provides broad, consistent coverage beyond the sensors, improves model robustness, and enables possible features such as benchmarking against local radiation patterns, early stress detection signals, and more reliable recommendations when in-situ data are sparse. By bringing space-enabled intelligence to affordable greenhouse tools, GEDYTE aims to raise yield, reduce resource use, and make predictable, high-quality harvests accessible to non-industrial growers.
